St Paul's has a strong view on the importance of technology in the role of the education of its students. We see this as one of a number of key ingredients that support students in the learning process. As such, we integrate the use of Information, Communication and Learning Technologies (ICLT) into daily classroom practice in a manner which allows students to interact with technology as a regular part of the learning process.
We believe that to effectively educate children, we must teach the them to be competent, responsible and reflective users of technology, as opposed to passive consumers. This includes developing an understanding of the impact that technology has in their lives.

St Paul's aims to provide contemporary quality learning environments for students through the integration of technology across all Key Learning Areas. As part of this process, we have implemented a 1:1 iPad Program for our students in Years 3 – 6. iPads are used in a range of learning spaces, allowing students the opportunity to achieve desired learning outcomes in ways that are not always possible using traditional methods.
The school manages these iPad devices to ensure that they are used as learning tools. The iPads are sold to families as part of the school’s annual resource fee, with the cost of the device is paid off over two years. The device is then owned by the family and managed by the school. At the end of Year 6, once the iPad has been fully purchased, it is unlocked and given to the family.
We also maintain a fleet of school iPads for shared use by our younger K-2 children.

Oliver is our school’s Library Management System. It is fully web-based, so the whole school community can access library resources including eBooks and Audiobooks. Simple, clear search options like dynamic picture searches help young students find books and other resources that appeal to them. They can also choose from a huge selection of background graphics and avatars to personalise their library experience.
Oliver means students and staff can also manage their loans and reservations — anywhere, anytime.
Digital citizenship is a priority at St Paul's, with all students participating in learning experiences that focus on being responsible and ethical users of technology.
Teachers use a range of resources developed by the Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong, the Office of the eSafety Commissioner and other online safety organisations, to assist in the ongoing education of our students in being safe and responsible digital citizens.
